ESF Explore seeks enthusiastic, experienced, and dynamic Multi-Sports Coaches to join our team on a part-time, hourly basis. The ideal candidate has a genuine passion for working with children (predominantly aged 3 to 11) and a strong background in coaching a diverse range of sports.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver High-Quality Sessions: Develop and lead engaging, age-appropriate multi-sport sessions that keep children moving and learning.
Manage Groups Effectively: Lead groups of 10–16 children independently or collaboratively, utilising positive behaviour strategies to keep sessions safe and engaging.
Foster Skill Development: Assess individual abilities, adapt activities for different skill levels, and provide constructive, encouraging feedback.
Represent the Brand: Act as a professional ambassador for ESF Explore when interacting with parents, guardians, school staff, and venue partners.
Handle Administration & Safety: Ensure timely setup, track attendance, maintain equipment, and promptly report any incidents.
Requirements:
Certification: Valid Level 1 Coach Accreditation from a recognised National Governing Body.
Experience: Proven track record coaching young children (ages 3–11 preferred).
Commitment: Punctual, reliable, and fully committed to completing assigned schedules.
Communication Skills: Strong English communication skills (Cantonese and Mandarin are highly valued but not essential).
First Aid: Valid First Aid/CPR certification is highly desirable (or a willingness to obtain one).
Personal Attributes & Availability:
Passion & Energy: Truly passionate about sports, physical education, and youth development. Candidates should be patient, energetic, approachable, and able to keep young children excited.
Autonomy & Teamwork: Self-motivated and comfortable leading sessions solo, while equally capable of collaborating within a team.
Flexibility: Availability for after-school hours, weekends, and seasonal school holidays is highly preferred.
Important Notes:
Eligibility: Applicants must be permanent residents of Hong Kong or possess a valid visa permitting employment in Hong Kong.
Child Safeguarding: ESF Explore is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children. Successful candidates will be required to undergo a Sexual Conviction Record Check (SCRC) prior to commencement.
