The Role:  

To assist in our growth, our overnight service is looking for a highly motivated and experienced individual to join the team.

If you enjoy the thrill of emergency medicine and are driven to provide the highest levels of patient care in a calm and professional manner, a position at our state-of-the-art facility could be for you!

• Full time: 4-day work week, 12 hours per work shift with 1-hour break.


• Working location:  Sai Wan Ho

Responsibilities:

• Provide inpatient and emergency care to patients from surgery, oncology and internal medicine, assisting with incoming emergencies and be responsible for case handovers each day.


• Work closely with the teams to ensure high standards of care are provided around the clock to our patients.


• Assist veterinarians with complex surgeries, consultations, diagnostic imaging, and other techniques


• Respond to client inquiries; including communicating and liaising professionally with clients, both in supervised and unsupervised situations, and recording and documenting client communication and feedback accordingly.

Requirements:

·         A minimum of 5 years of veterinary nursing experience.

·         Previous emergency and critical care experience will be an advantage.

·         Excellent interpersonal, written, verbal communication skills in English and Cantonese

·         Vet Techs (veterinarians with qualifications not recognized in Hong Kong) are welcome to apply.

·         Strong organizational, communication, analytical and problem-solving in skill

·         Self-motivated, able to work under pressure, team player and good team spirit
