GLAS is an award-winning independent debt administration services company providing, amongst other services, loan agency, security agency and corporate trustee services in the international debt capital markets.



With its origins in acting in complex restructuring transactions, GLAS' work covers a broad range of transactions ranging from direct lending with banks and debt funds to high yield bond issuances and complex debt restructurings. GLAS' services are delivered in connection with corporate debt, acquisition finance, project and infrastructure finance and sponsor and corporate-led leveraged finance transactions.



GLAS currently has offices in London, Sydney, New York, New Jersey, Brisbane, Melbourne, Paris, Frankfurt, Madrid, Dubai, Hong Kong and Singapore. An opportunity has arisen to join this growing and dynamic firm to support and develop GLAS’s growing business in Asia.


 


Position Summary


 


We seek a confident, flexible and self-motivated individual to support our expanding team in Hong Kong. You will be responsible for the smooth day-to-day running of the office, providing support to team members where required. You will also act as the Hong Kong office’s local member of GLAS’s Central Operating Office (“COO”), which is a global team established to foster strong positive working relationships between internal business teams and develop, implement and monitor operational policies and procedures.  


This is a part-time role, with the expectation that you will work 3-4 hours per day (Monday to Friday) in the Hong Kong office.


 


 Responsibilities


 



  • Overseeing the daily functions of the Hong Kong office, managing equipment and supplies, ensuring workplace safety and facility maintenance.

  • Greeting clients and other visitors to the Hong Kong office.

  • Acting as local member of the global COO, and liaising regularly with other team members to ensure that relevant operational policies and procedures are adhered to.

  • Maintaining accurate records of all original transaction documentation received at the Hong Kong office.

  • Managing and monitoring inventory of office supplies and the procurement of fixed assets according to budget.

  • Acting as first point of contact for new GLAS hires, working with colleagues in other GLAS global offices to manage the on-boarding and training process.

  • Assisting with the organisation of GLAS events, both internal and external.

  • Managing post to and from the office and arranging local and international couriers as required.

  • Updating the global COO team of international travel by senior members of the Hong Kong team.

  • Collaborating consultatively with other team members on projects as assigned.


 


Experience and Qualifications 


 



  • Proven experience in administrative roles.

  • High level of professionalism and discretion.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and general office software.

  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills (both oral and written).

  • Cantonese/Mandarin language skills.

  • Highly organised with a “can do” attitude.
