Summary of Position
Job Purpose
Jockey Club 'CoolPlay' Project Phase 2 is generously funded by a HK$64 million donation from the Hong Kong Jockey Club Charities Trust. The project aims to ignite a passion for STEM learning in young children, setting the stage for future STEM education. Through our focus on play and exploration, we aim to enrich children's learning interests, learning attitudes (including resilience), and skills (including observing and predicting). This endeavor will be supported by a growing community of specially trained educators and experts, engaged parents, as well as the passionate community. With our internationally recognized STEM learning resource kit - JumpStarter, we make exploration easily accessible for everyone.
Key Job Responsibilities
- Manage the progress of platform development
- Coordinate the IT team and the curriculum team to ensure the deliverables can be achieved on a timely manner
- Taking a full ownership of a successful digital platform delivery of the JC ‘Coolplay’ project
- To manage all stakeholders of the platform such as the content contributor, system designers, vendors, and project team
- To consolidate users’ requirements received from project members/platform end-users and to convey this clearly to the solution vendor to ensure that the deliverable will meet the expected value and benefits
- Manage, monitor, and evaluate the solution vendor and the quality of their platform deliverables
- To provide regular progress update on the platform deliverable to the JC ‘Coolplay’ Project Manager
- Compile and maintain documentations related to any new solution delivered
- To provide user training, support, advice regarding the usability of the digital platform

Job Requirements
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a
- At least 3-5 years of experience in managing software or platform development projects, preferably in the education industry.
- Strong project management, team coordination, and problem-solving skills.
Research

- Proficiency in software development methodologies and languages.

- Ability to assess and implement new technologies as they become relevant.
