My multinational credit insurance client is looking for a new expert in its Global IT Team to join their Budapest based office as a Junior IT Security Manager.
This is a regional role working with IT and business teams across 5 European markets, working in a close-knit team of 3-4 security engineers. Your overall role is about: Your job as a Junior IT Security Manager:

• Defining and updating IT security requirements (policies, standards, baselines),
• Measuring, monitoring, and reporting on IT compliance with security requirements,
• Identification and assessment of IT risks as well as monitoring of IT risks treatment,
• Development of Cyber Security solutions and services,
• Supporting maintenance and development of cyber security controls and solutions for cloud solutions and platforms,
• Organizing security testing,
• Collaborate and represent Security Team in front of main local stakeholders,
• Work collaboratively with the IT teams in all countries.

You will surely succeed in this role if you have:

• ~3 years of relevant work experience in the field of Information Technology and Security,

• Bsc/Msc degree (ideally Information Technology),
• Excellent Hungarian and English communication skills,
• Understanding of security technologies like SIEM, WAF, IDS/IPS, NDR, Endpoint Security, NAC and services like SOC, Vulnerability Scanning, Penetration testing,
• Problem solving approach and patience,
• Great work organizational skills,
• Experience with managing security projects.

We would be impressed if you have:

• Hands on experience with cloud computing,
• Industry recognised certifications: CISSP, CISM, CISA, CompTIA, Security+, GSEC; CCSK, CCSP/CSP,
• Experience with security managed services,
• Experience from financial field.
