Job Title: Audit Support Contractor


About the Role:

We are in search of a meticulous and seasoned Audit Support Contractor to provide assistance to the International Financial Reporting team. The successful candidate will be instrumental in ensuring the accurate and efficient completion of audit requests. This role demands strong technical accounting skills, analytical capabilities, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced independent work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Offering hands-on support to external auditors by preparing and furnishing requested documentation and schedules.
  • Conducting sample testing of transactions and account balances to ensure adherence to audit standards.
  • Performing detailed reviews of financial statements and supporting schedules for accuracy, consistency, and completeness.
  • Investigating and addressing audit inquiries and follow-up questions in a timely and professional manner.
  • Collaborating closely with internal team members to gather information and resolve discrepancies.
  • Ensuring that all audit documentation meets internal standards and external requirements.
  • Tracking audit progress and maintaining organized records of all audit-related communications and workpapers.

Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of experience in accounting or audit support, preferably with a background in public accounting.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Capability to manage multiple tasks and meet stringent deadlines.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other accounting/reporting tools.

Preferred Traits:

  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Comfortable working with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders.

Requirements

Requirements:
  • Minimum 60% in all academics.
  • Graduate degree is mandatory.
  • 3–5 years of experience in accounting, auditing, or financial reporting.
  • Prior experience in public accounting preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Self-motivated, good communication skills, and comfortable working with cross-functional teams.
