About the Role
The Business Systems Analyst (BSA) – IT Infrastructure will work on contract and act as a key liaison between business stakeholders and IT infrastructure teams. This role is responsible for understanding business requirements, translating them into technical and operational infrastructure needs, and ensuring IT infrastructure solutions align with business goals, security standards, and service management practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Gather, analyze, and document business requirements related to IT infrastructure services.
- Translate business needs into functional and technical requirements for infrastructure teams.
- Work closely with infrastructure, cloud, network, security, and operations teams to design solutions.
- Support planning and implementation of infrastructure initiatives, including cloud and on-prem upgrades.
- Analyze current infrastructure processes and identify gaps, risks, and improvement opportunities.
- Support ITIL processes such as Incident, Change, Problem, and Service Request Management.
- Participate in service design, capacity planning, and availability planning activities.
- Assist in impact analysis and root cause analysis for infrastructure incidents.
- Develop process flows, use cases, and documentation for infrastructure services.
- Coordinate UAT and validation of infrastructure-related solutions and enhancements.
- Act as a point of contact for stakeholders, ensuring clear communication and expectation management.
Basic Qualifications
- MBA with 3-5 years of professional experience (any specialization, preferably with a strong interest in technology, digital transformation, or business systems).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with cross‑functional teams and stakeholders.
- Basic working knowledge of modern collaboration and analytics tools, including:
- SharePoint
- Power BI
- Chatbots / conversational AI tools
- Other AI‑driven productivity or automation applications
- Demonstrated eagerness to learn, strong adaptability, and ability to work in dynamic IT and business environments.
- A proactive attitude toward understanding business processes, technology workflows, and system improvements.
- Ready to work on contract
Preferred Qualifications
- ITIL Foundation certification.
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Familiarity with ITOM, CMDB, or service management tools (e.g., ServiceNow).
- Experience in hybrid IT environments (on-premises and cloud).
- Knowledge of security, compliance, and governance concepts.
- Experience working in enterprise or global IT environments.
