Data Architect

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead end\-to\-end design of conceptual, logical, and physical data models.
  




• Define canonical data models, entity relationships, facts, dimensions, and data dictionaries.
  




• Specify and validate ETL/ELT mappings ensuring lineage and traceability.
  




• Ensure scalability, performance, security, and compliance requirements.
  




• Collaborate with product managers and engineering teams to translate use cases into models.
  




• Establish metadata, master data, and reference data standards.
  




• Define and enforce data governance, quality rules, and versioning.
  




• Drive prototyping, PoCs, and production rollouts.
  




• Mentor engineers and analysts on data modeling best practices.
  

Key Skills & Qualifications:

• 8–12 years of enterprise data architecture and modeling experience.
  




• Expertise in dimensional, normalized, data vault, and canonical modeling.
  




• Hands\-on with Snowflake, Databricks, BigQuery, or Redshift.
  




• Proficient in SQL, Spark, dbt, and ETL tools.
  




• Experience with data modeling tools (Erwin, ER/Studio, Sparx, Archi).
  




• Strong understanding of data lineage, metadata, and data quality frameworks.
  




• Agile delivery experience and excellent communication skills.
