Data Modeller

We are looking for a Sr. Data Modeler to design, develop, and manage scalable data modeling solutions on enterprise platforms. You will work with stakeholders and technical teams to translate business requirements into robust data models, semantic layers, and reporting structures that enable analytics, BI, and data\-driven decisions.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement data modeling solutions using Snowflake, DBT Cloud, and Tableau.
  




• Collaborate with stakeholders to define data models, schemas, transformations, and metadata aligned with business needs.
  




• Reverse\-engineer legacy platforms and reports to uncover business logic and translate into modern target\-state models.
  




• Develop semantic models for reporting and analytics, supporting KPIs and metrics.
  




• Oversee implementation, monitor performance, and optimize data systems.
  




• Maintain documentation, manage model versioning, and ensure best practices in data engineering.
  




• Design star/snowflake schemas and canonical data structures for enterprise reporting and analytics.
  

Key Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CS, Engineering, or related field; 10–15 years’ experience in data modeling, architecture, and governance.
  




• Strong experience with Snowflake, SQL, DBT, and data modeling tools (Erwin, ER/Studio, Hackolade).
  




• Expertise in ETL/ELT processes, semantic models, star/snowflake schemas, and BI/reporting.
  




• Familiarity with relational and cloud databases (Snowflake, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, AWS).
  




• Strong analytical, problem\-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
  




• Banking domain experience is required.
