GML 15 : Oracle EBS Functional Consultant Order Management (OM)

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) R12 Functional Consultant with deep expertise in the Order Management (OM) module. The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading the design, configuration, testing, training, and support of Oracle OM solutions as part of an integrated Order-to-Cash (O2C) business process.

Responsibilities

• Engage with business users to gather and document requirements related to Order-to-Cash (O2C) processes.
  

• Configure Oracle Order Management (OM) module including:
  

  • Order types
    

  • Pricing rules
    

  • Shipping methods
    

  • Return processes
    

  • Fulfillment setups
    

• Perform gap analysis, identify limitations of standard Oracle features, and recommend RICEW customizations (Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, Workflows).
  

• Create detailed functional design documents (MD050) for integrations and enhancements.
  

• Develop and execute System Integration Testing (SIT) and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) test plans and cases.
  

• Conduct user training sessions, prepare training materials, and provide post-go-live support.
  

• Support data migration activities involving customer and order history from legacy systems.
  

• Collaborate with technical developers (SQL, PL/SQL, OAF, Java) to convert functional specs into technical solutions.
  

• Troubleshoot and resolve functional issues related to order processing, pricing, and shipping.
  

• Stay updated on Oracle OM module updates and industry best practices to offer continuous improvement recommendations.
  

Requirements

• Minimum 7 years of experience in Oracle EBS R12, with a strong focus on the Order Management module.
  
• Proven experience with Order-to-Cash lifecycle, Oracle OM configurations, and transaction flows.
  
• Experience creating MD050 documents and managing RICEW objects.
  
• Familiarity with related modules: Shipping, Inventory, Pricing, AR.
  
• Strong experience in SIT/UAT, defect triage, and validation cycles.
  
• Ability to support training, go-live, and hypercare activities.
  
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
  
• Experience working with technical teams on custom solution delivery.
