Job Description - Hiring || AS/400 Professionals (BLR/Chennai/Pune)

Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Architect with 10 to 14 years of hands -on expertise in AS/400 RPG, RPG/400, and RPGLE to drive the design and implementation of scalable, high -performance solutions. The ideal candidate will have deep proficiency in SQLRPGLE and AS/400 Utilities, with a proven ability to deliver robust systems in a hybrid work model. This role is critical to aligning technical architecture with business objectives, enhancing system reliability, and advancing our technological capabilities. You will serve as a technical leader, guiding development teams, optimizing system performance, and ensuring compliance with industry standards while fostering innovation and continuous improvement.

Location: Bangalore/Pune/Chennai

Responsibilities:

Design and implement high -quality, scalable solutions using AS/400 RPG, RPG/400, and RPGLE to meet evolving business needs.
Collaborate with cross -functional teams to ensure seamless integration across systems and applications.
Analyze existing systems and deliver actionable recommendations to improve performance, efficiency, and maintainability.
Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for architectural designs, processes, and system configurations.
Provide technical leadership and mentorship to development teams, promoting adherence to best practices.
Lead testing and validation efforts to ensure system reliability, accuracy, and consistency.
Oversee the deployment of new applications and systems with minimal operational disruption.
Monitor system performance, diagnose issues, and implement timely resolutions to maintain optimal functionality.
Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends to inform strategic architectural decisions.
Ensure all designs comply with company policies, security standards, and relevant regulatory requirements.
Engage with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate business needs into effective technical solutions.
Optimize resource utilization to deliver cost -effective, scalable, and sustainable systems.
Champion a culture of continuous learning, innovation, and process improvement within the team.

Requirements

Requirements:

10 to 14 years of professional experience in AS/400 RPG, RPG/400, and RPGLE development.
Demonstrated expertise in SQLRPGLE and AS/400 Utilities.
Strong analytical and problem -solving skills with meticulous attention to detail.
Excellent communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management abilities.
Proven success in delivering complex projects within a hybrid work environment.
Commitment to ongoing professional development and staying abreast of technological advancements.
