Job Description - Hiring || ServiceNow IT Service Management - Bhubaneswar

Summary:

As a Custom Software Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in designing, developing, and configuring custom applications that align with business processes and strategic objectives. You will collaborate closely with cross -functional teams to gather requirements, deliver innovative solutions, and ensure seamless integration with existing systems. Your contributions will directly impact application performance, reliability, and user experience. You will actively participate in code reviews, problem -solving sessions, and documentation efforts, while driving continuous improvement through proactive troubleshooting and optimization. This role demands technical expertise, independent initiative, and a strong commitment to quality and best practices.

Experience: 6 -9 years

Responsibilities:

Independently execute complex development tasks and grow into a Subject Matter Expert (SME) within the team.
Actively contribute to team discussions, knowledge sharing, and solution design.
Identify, analyze, and resolve technical challenges to ensure application stability and performance.
Document application workflows, processes, and configurations for clarity and maintainability.
Participate in peer code reviews to uphold coding standards, quality, and adherence to best practices.

Requirements

Requirements:

Proven experience (minimum 3 years) in ServiceNow IT Service Management.
Expertise in ServiceNow application development, configuration, and customization.
Strong knowledge of IT service management (ITSM) processes and frameworks (e.g., ITIL).
Proficiency in scripting languages used within ServiceNow (e.g., JavaScript, GlideScript).
Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex application issues efficiently.
Minimum 15 years of full -time education.
