Requirements

Job Title: PeopleSoft Technical Consultant

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, test, and maintain PeopleSoft technical components including Application Engine programs, SQRs, PeopleCode, Component Interfaces, and Integration Broker.
  
  
• Perform complex data extraction from PeopleSoft HCM, Payroll, and Benefits modules to support downstream systems and reporting.
  
  
• Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical solutions within PeopleSoft.
  
  
• Troubleshoot and resolve production support issues related to PeopleSoft applications.
  
  
• Work closely with functional teams and stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery.
  
  
• Ensure compliance with data governance and security policies when handling sensitive employee information.
  
  
• Take complete ownership of assigned tasks and drive them to successful completion with minimal supervision.
  

Required Skills:

• 8+ years of hands-on experience in PeopleSoft technical development.
  
  
• Strong expertise in PeopleSoft HCM, including core HR, Payroll, and Benefits.
  
  
• In-depth understanding of PeopleSoft table structures and data relationships.
  
  
• Proficiency in PeopleSoft tools: Application Engine, PeopleCode, SQR, PS Query, and Integration Broker.
  
  
• Experience developing and optimizing data extraction programs.
  
  
• Solid understanding of SQL and relational databases.
  
  
• Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.
  
  
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  
  
• Ability to work independently and take full ownership of deliverables.
  

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with PeopleSoft 9.x or higher.
  
  
• Familiarity with reporting tools like BI Publisher or XML Publisher.
  
  
• Prior experience in upgrading or implementing PeopleSoft modules.
  
  
• Exposure to Agile development practices and DevOps tools.
