Senior Sourcing Engineer

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, preferably in Mechanical, Electrical, Manufacturing, or Industrial Engineering
  


• 8–10 years of experience in sourcing, program management, and supplier management
  

• Proven experience in sourcing, negotiation, dual sourcing, and supplier relationship management
  


• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
  


• Solid understanding of manufacturing processes and commodities related to product development and cost structures
  


• Ability to read and interpret Bills of Materials (BOMs)
  


• Highly self-motivated, capable of working independently with minimal supervision
  


• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills
  

• Familiarity with SAP MM (Materials Management) module
  


• Experience in cost modeling and understanding of cost structures (e.g., outsourced assemblies, module-level markups, margins)
  


• Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams on new product introductions (NPI) or design change projects
  


• Ability to interpret technical drawings; experience using 3D modeling and PLM tools
  


• Prior experience working with global suppliers and managing international sourcing relationships
