Job Description - Solution Architect


Salesforce B2B Commerce Architect




Responsibilities:












  • Solution Design and Architecture:




    • Designing and leading the architecture of Salesforce B2B Commerce solutions on the Lightning Experience platform. 









    • Translating business requirements into well-architected solutions that leverage the Salesforce platform effectively. 









    • Creating technical design documents and solution proposals. 









    • Ensuring solutions are scalable, secure, and align with industry best practices. 









    • Conducting architecture reviews and providing guidance to development teams. 



















  • Integration:




    • Designing and implementing integrations with other enterprise systems (ERP, CRM, third-party systems) to create a seamless e-commerce experience. 









    • Troubleshooting integration issues and ensuring data consistency. 









    • Utilizing APIs, APEX triggers, and AppExchange packages for integration. 



















  • Technical Leadership and Mentorship:




    • Providing technical leadership and guidance to development teams. 









    • Mentoring team members on Salesforce best practices and development standards. 









    • Conducting code reviews and providing feedback to ensure high-quality deliverables. 



















  • Performance Optimization:




    • Conducting performance tuning and optimization of Salesforce systems. 









    • Identifying and addressing performance bottlenecks. 



















  • Staying Current:




    • Staying up-to-date with the latest Salesforce technology trends and advancements. 









    • Recommending innovative solutions and best practices. 



















  • Client Collaboration:




    • Collaborating with clients to understand their business needs and translate them into technical solutions. 









    • Presenting technical solutions and architecture to stakeholders. 



















  • Pre-Sales Support:




    • Participating in pre-sales activities, such as discovery sessions, technical deep dives, and proof-of-concept development. 









    • Assisting with RFP responses and technical qualifications. 




















Required Skills and Experience:







  • Extensive experience with Salesforce B2B Commerce Cloud and Lightning Experience.

  • Strong knowledge of Salesforce architecture, integration patterns, and best practices.

  • Experience with Salesforce development (Apex, Lightning Web Components, Visualforce).

  • Strong understanding of Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA) and integration design principles.

  • Experience with full lifecycle Salesforce CRM implementations.

  • Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.

  • Preferred certifications in Salesforce B2B Commerce and Salesforce Architecture
