Job Description - Sr Service Now HRSD Developer

Job Title: Sr Service Now HRSD Developer

Experience: 6–10+ Years
Location: Hyderabad
Notice Period: Immediate Joiner or max 15days

Role Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Sr Service Now HRSD Developer
with strong hands -on experience in ServiceNow HR Service Delivery (HRSD) to
lead configuration, development, and customization across the HRSD scope. The
ideal candidate will have deep technical expertise, strong scripting skills,
and the ability to design and deliver complex HRSD solutions while guiding
development teams and collaborating closely with stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

HRSD Configuration & Development

  • Lead
    and execute end -to -end configuration and development across the ServiceNow
    HRSD module.
  • Design
    and implement scalable HRSD solutions using out -of -the -box functionality
    with required customizations.
  • Act
    as a technical lead, guiding junior developers and ensuring adherence to
    ServiceNow best practices.

Employee Document Management (EDM)

  • Configure
    and manage Employee Document Management within HRSD.
  • Implement
    document retention rules, access controls, and visibility policies.
  • Ensure
    compliance with organizational and regulatory requirements for employee
    documents.

Lifecycle Events & Journeys

  • Configure
    and manage Lifecycle Events including Journeys for various employee
    stages.
  • Design
    personalized and automated employee experiences aligned with HR processes.

Employee Relations

  • Configure
    and manage Employee Relations cases.
  • Implement
    functionality for involved parties, interviews, evidence management, and
    case tracking.
  • Ensure
    secure handling of sensitive employee data through appropriate controls.

Access Management

  • Configure
    roles and groups within HRSD.
  • Manage
    manual access assignments and ensure proper access governance.

AWA – Live Agent & Virtual Agent

  • Configure
    Agent Workspace / Advanced Work Assignment (AWA) for HR use cases.
  • Design
    and manage Live Agent and Virtual Agent interactions.
  • Configure
    HR Topics and conversational flows to improve employee self -service.

Scripting & Custom Development

  • Develop
    and maintain custom scripts using JavaScript (Business Rules, Script
    Includes, Client Scripts, UI Policies).
  • Troubleshoot
    and optimize existing scripts and configurations.

Dashboards & Reporting

  • Develop
    advanced dashboards and reports to support HR and leadership
    decision -making.
  • Create
    and manage database views and implement interactive filters for enhanced
    analytics.

Integrations

  • Design
    and support integrations using REST APIs.
  • Collaborate
    with external systems and teams to ensure seamless data exchange.

HRSD Case Management

  • Configure
    HR Case Management using Workflow Designer.
  • Implement
    and manage ACLs, Record Producers, and HR Services.
  • Ensure
    efficient case routing, automation, and SLA adherence.

 

Required Skills & Qualifications

Technical Skills

  • Strong
    hands -on experience with ServiceNow HRSD module.
  • Expertise
    in HRSD configuration, customization, and case management.
  • Proficiency
    in JavaScript for ServiceNow scripting.
  • Experience
    with AWA, Live Agent, Virtual Agent, and conversational design.
  • Strong
    knowledge of Workflow Designer, ACLs, Record Producers, and HR Services.
  • Experience
    with REST API integrations.

Leadership & Soft Skills

  • Proven
    ability to act as a Tech Lead, mentoring and guiding development teams.
  • Strong
    problem -solving skills and ability to handle complex technical scenarios
    independently.
  • Excellent
    communication and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • ServiceNow
    HRSD certifications.
  • Experience
    in large -scale or enterprise ServiceNow implementations.
  • Familiarity
    with Agile/Scrum delivery methodologies.
