Job Summary

The selected candidate will develop and execute automated web application tests using Cypress, ensure integration with version control and CI/CD tools, and optionally contribute to Python-based test framework development. The role also involves understanding web technologies and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure quality delivery.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Cypress automation test scripts using JavaScript.
  

• Utilize Cypress APIs, commands, and best practices for efficient automation.
  

• Validate web application functionality by understanding HTML, CSS, and DOM structures.
  

• Integrate automation scripts with Git version control and CI/CD tools like Jenkins.
  

• Optionally contribute to Python scripting for test automation and data validation.
  

• Apply SQL and database knowledge for data-driven testing.
  

• Assist in the development of custom test frameworks and utilities.
  

Requirements

• Strong JavaScript programming skills.
  

• Hands-on experience with the Cypress Framework, including API usage and commands.
  

• Good understanding of HTML, CSS, and DOM.
  

• Experience with version control (Git).
  

• Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins or similar).
  

• Python programming experience (scripting and object-oriented).
  

• Hands-on with Pandas and NumPy for data manipulation.
  

• Understanding of Database concepts and SQL.
  

• Experience in developing custom test frameworks.
