Job Description: We are seeking a dynamic Accountant/Supply Chain Manager to join our team at [Company Name]. This role is crucial for managing our financial records, overseeing the procurement process, and handling vendor relationships. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting and supply chain management, with the ability to multitask and coordinate various activities across purchasing, store management, project accounting, and vendor billing. Responsibilities: -Financial Management:** Prepare accurate project budgets and financial forecasts. - Conduct monthly, quarterly, and annual accounting activities including reconciliations of bank and credit card accounts, coordination and completion of annual audits, and reviewing financial reports/support as necessary. - **Supply Chain Oversight:** - Oversee and manage the entire supply chain lifecycle, from purchasing to delivery. - Negotiate with suppliers to ensure the best cost, reliability, and quality of goods. - **Inventory and Store Management:** - Manage inventory levels to optimize space and resources while ensuring project timelines are met. - Supervise the store operations ensuring efficient handling and storage of all goods. - **Project Accounting:** - Monitor and record financial progress of projects by tracking billing and payments. - Work closely with project managers to ensure that expenditures stay within project budget. - **Vendor Billing and Management:** - Process vendor payments and maintain a systematic, process-driven approach to vendor relationships. - Handle disputes and negotiate to resolve discrepancies in billing and shipping. Qualifications: - Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field. - Proven experience in accounting and supply chain management within the construction industry. - Strong understanding of project management and accounting principles. - Proficient in MS Office and finance software. - Excellent organizational and leadership abilities. - Strong communication and negotiation skills. - Ability to manage multiple tasks concurrently under deadline pressure.
