About the Role:
The Business Manager (Sales) will set the benchmark for the growth and development of sales in the (location). The ideal candidate will have an outstanding track record of managerial experience and will research and pursue the development of new products and leads and convert them into revenuegenerating clientele. The candidate should be a selfstarter who is prepared to develop new key customer accounts and gain footfall in new territories.
Key Responsibilities:
Report to Director and COO
Understanding creating and implementing strategies in line with organizational objectives
Identification of potential opportunities and building of roadmap for execution
Appointment of new Channel Partners and managing and motivating existing Channel Partners to achieve their targets
Manage team of Sales Engineers and set weekly and monthly KRAs
Travel within and around (location) to search for and pursue new leads
Monitor and research industry trends to drive in potential revenue
Servicing of clientele pre and post sales
Represent Bipico at local trade shows and marketing events
Coordinating all sales generation activities
Cold Calling: making multiple outbound calls to potential clients
To develop create and monitor Class A & Class B customers (users)
Collaborating with management on sales goals planning and forecasting
Track and create internal reports for management
PreRequisite Qualifications:
Bachelors in Engineering (BE) preferably Mechanical or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering (DME)
Knowledge of Business and Management; MBA or equivalent is preferred
10 or more years of experience in technology related business development; marketing business development or sales management
Experience in marketing of industrial products such as high speed steel cutting tools and saw blades will be highly preferred
Expertise in dealer management
Fluency in Microsoft Office suite (Outlook Excel Word PowerPoint etc.)
An ability to multitask and perform under tight deadlines
Strong written verbal and collaborative skills; fluency in English and Tamil
Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills
Knowledge of productivity tools/software will be preferred
