Junior Accountant

Job description

Please note that this job opening is specifically intended for candidates who hold a Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com) degree. Candidates with MBA degrees or any other qualifications are kindly requested not to apply for this entry-level position

Roles and Responsibilities

• Handling Billing and accounts related activities day to day
• Coordination with other verticals/departments like Site Handling, Design and other finance/non-finance functions.
• Good Communication and Interpersonal skills.
• Support during Account closure, Audits and tax filings 
• Ensure that all accounting entries are entered on the same day.

Skills Required :

• Basic knowledge of Tally Prime/Tally ERP and Microsoft Office
• Well-versed with the accounting principles
• Basic knowledge of Income tax and GST
• Ability to work under pressure
• Ability to multi-task and prioritize in a dynamic environment.
• Ability to deal with short deadlines in a fast-paced, environment.
• Ability to build relationships and interface with other non-accounting departments
• Excellent knowledge of financial principles and accounting practice

Desired Candidate Profile

• B.Com with 0-2 year Accounting Experience
• Candidates without an MBA background will be prioritized
