"He/she is responsible for managing the company's India accounting team leading into areas like revenue, expenses, Payroll, month end closure. And leading internal and external audits to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures. He/she will also collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify better processes and improve efficiency.

The Manager must have a strong understanding of Ind AS and IGAAP with minimal understanding of US GAAP and auditing standards. They must be able to analyse financial data and must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as they will be required to collaborate with various departments within the company and external stakeholders."

Key Responsibilities:

India finance manager is responsible for creating and implementing financial plans that will meet the organization's objectives. This includes developing budgets, forecasting financial performance, and analyzing financial data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.

  • Financial Reporting: The finance manager is responsible for preparing financial reports that summarize the organization's financial performance. These reports are used to inform stakeholders and make decisions about the organization's future direction.
  • Cash Flow Management: The India finance manager is responsible for managing the organization's cash flow by monitoring cash balances, forecasting cash needs, and ensuring that cash is available to meet the organization's obligations.
  • Tax Management: The finance manager is responsible for ensuring that the organization complies with all tax regulations and laws. This includes calculating taxes owed, filing tax returns, and making tax payments.
  • Risk Management: The India finance manager is responsible for identifying financial risks that could impact the organization and implementing strategies to mitigate these risks.
  • Team Management: The finance manager is responsible for managing a team of finance professionals, including accountants, analysts, and other financial staff. This involves setting goals, providing guidance and support, and ensuring that the team is working effectively.
  • Relationship Management: The finance manager is responsible for building relationships with stakeholders, including investors, lenders, and regulatory bodies. This involves communicating financial information, answering questions, and addressing concerns.
  • Manage the revenue cycle, including billing, collections, and revenue recognition.
  • Ensure revenue is recorded accurately and in accordance with IGAAP and US GAAP ASC 606 .
  • Conduct internal audits to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Develop and implement controls to mitigate revenue-related risks.
  • Prepare reports and provide analysis on revenue and audit-related metrics.
  • Support MEC activities and variance analysis for monthly end close.
  • Assist Director with external audits and regulatory compliance.
  • Assist with the preparation of financial analysis and reports for management.
  • Engage with big 4 auditor for completion of India and Dutch entity internal and statutory audit.
  • Manage Intercompany and transfer pricing transactions.
  • Identify areas for process improvement and implement changes to increase efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including finance, accounting, and operations, to identify opportunities for process improvement and streamline financial operations.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Directors.

Qualified Chartered Accountant

  • 5-8 years of experience in revenue and audit-related functions. Big 4/MNC experience is preferred
  • Knowledge of IND AS and US GAAP and auditing standards.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal and people management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and PPTs.
  • Experience with accounting software (e.g. NetSuite, SAP) is a must.

Working location and timing

  • Regular working hours and commute to office location
