Remote Accountant

Job Description:

HealthifyMe, a leading health and fitness technology company based in Bangalore, Karnataka, is seeking a full-time Remote Accountant to join our team at the Associate Level. The ideal candidate should have at least 4 years of experience in accounting and finance, with a strong background in remote work and a proven track record of success.

Responsibilities: 1. Manage and oversee the daily operations of the accounting department. 2. Prepare financial statements and reports for review by management. 3. Review and reconcile accounts, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies. 4. Analyze financial data and provide recommendations to improve efficiency and profitability. 5. Assist in budgeting and forecasting processes. 6. Collaborate with other departments to support cross-functional initiatives. 7. Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices in accounting and finance. 8. Provide guidance and mentorship to junior team members.

Requirements: 1. Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance. 2. CPA or equivalent certification preferred. 3. 4+ years of experience in accounting or finance. 4. Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel. 5. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. 6. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. 7. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. 8. Resilient and energetic personality traits. 9. Strong presentation and innovation skills.
