Accounts Payable

Job Description:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accounts Payable professional to join our team at upGrad in Kolkata, West Bengal. As an Entry Level Accounts Payable, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of the accounts payable process, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in all financial transactions.

Responsibilities: - Process vendor invoices and ensure timely payments - Reconcile vendor statements and resolve any discrepancies - Maintain accurate and up-to-date vendor records - Assist with month-end closing activities - Prepare and analyze financial reports related to accounts payable - Work closely with internal departments to resolve payment issues - Provide support for audits and compliance requirements - Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement solutions

Requirements: - Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field - Strong attention to detail and accuracy - Excellent organizational and time management skills - Ability to work independently and as part of a team - Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software - Strong communication and interpersonal skills - Adaptable and resilient personality traits - Cooperation and decision-making soft skills
