Accounts Payable

Job Description:

We are looking for a hardworking and energetic individual to join our team at Simplilearn as an Associate level Accounts Payable in Mumbai, Maharashtra. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of experience in a similar role, with strong adaptability and strategic planning skills.

Responsibilities: - Process and verify invoices, purchase orders, and expenses - Reconcile vendor statements and resolve any discrepancies - Prepare and process payments in a timely manner - Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all transactions - Assist with month-end close activities and reporting - Communicate with vendors to resolve issues and maintain positive relationships - Assist with internal and external audits as needed - Adhere to company policies and procedures regarding financial transactions

Requirements: - Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field - Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounts payable or a similar role - Strong attention to detail and accuracy - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Ability to work independently and as part of a team - Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software - Knowledge of GAAP and financial regulations
