Accounts Payable

Job Description:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accounts Payable professional to join our team at Snapdeal in Kolkata, West Bengal, IN. As an entry-level Accounts Payable specialist, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of the accounts payable process, including processing invoices, reconciling vendor accounts, and ensuring timely payments to vendors.

Responsibilities: - Process vendor invoices accurately and timely - Reconcile vendor statements and resolve any discrepancies - Verify and obtain approval for invoices before payment - Prepare and process payments to vendors - Maintain accurate records of all accounts payable transactions - Communicate with vendors to address any payment issues or inquiries - Assist with month-end financial closing activities as needed - Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate and timely payment processing - Assist with ad-hoc projects as needed

Requirements: - Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field - Strong attention to detail and organizational skills - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Ability to work independently and as part of a team - Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software - Reliable and resourceful with a strong work ethic - Ability to make decisions and problem-solve effectively - Willingness to cooperate and collaborate with colleagues - No prior experience required, but willingness to learn and grow in the role
