Key Responsibilities:
Accounting, Financial reporting and Auditing:
- Pass necessary accounting entries into the accounting software to maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records. Maintain general ledger, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.
- Generate periodic financial statements, MIS reports, cash flow analyses and budget variance reports.
- Prepare and organise financial documentation and collaborate with external auditors during annual audits, address audit queries and ensure timely receipt of audit reports.
- Implement any recommended audit-related improvements.
Administrative Tasks:
- Organise and maintain important investment documents, contracts, and correspondence.
- Assist in the preparation of investment-related legal documents and agreements.
- Generate and raise sales invoices accurately and on time.
- Implement an efficient debtor management system, following up with clients for payment and resolving outstanding invoices.
- Ensure the timely payment of all recurring expenses, including utility bills, rent, and other financial obligations. Perform Vendor management.
- Monitor expense schedules and manage payment deadlines effectively.
- Oversee payroll processing, including salary disbursement and statutory deductions.
- Calculate and manage employee leave balances, ensuring accuracy and compliance with labour regulations.
- Monitor office supplies inventory, order new supplies, and ensure an adequate stock.
- Managing all the bank accounts and creating reconciliation on a timely basis for all companies.
- Maintain and manage petty cash for small, day-to-day expenses, keeping accurate records. Reconcile petty cash accounts and replenish funds as needed.
Tax and other regulatory compliance:
- Manage and execute timely and precise TDS deductions, payments, and filings for all three companies to guarantee full compliance with tax regulations
- Oversee and ensure proper GST compliance for all transactions, including timely filing of GST returns.
- Manage and ensure timely and accurate filing of necessary documents with the Registrar of Companies (ROC) , adhering to statutory requirements.
- Timely compliance and payment of ESIC (if any), PF, PT.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in commerce (B.com), Finance, or a related field.
- A minimum of 2-3 years of relevant experience in accounting and financial management.
- Professional certifications like CA, CMA, or ACCA are a plus.
- Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel.
- Understanding of Indian accounting standards, GST, and TDS rules and regulations.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
