Backup Administrator L

• Responsible for the L2 level support of backup software Veeam, and Commvault platforms.
  
• Ability to manage multiple tape libraries of backup infrastructure.
  
• Understands and has excellent knowledge and skills to troubleshoot backup software, tape, and storage issues.
  
• Needs to be proficient in policies and schedules, can create policies, and work with defined schedules is a must.
  
• Must thoroughly understand backup software through the command line and the GUI.
  

• Must follow established company processes, including change management, incident management, and problem management processes.
  
• Experience in shell or PowerShell scripting, and developing operational reports.
  
• Escalate backup issues when necessary including opening support cases with OEM.
  
• Understanding of patching and up-gradation of backup software.
  

Requirements

• Should be a graduate.
  
• Should have monitoring and Administrative experience.
