The Business Analyst plays a critical role in TheSmallBigIdea, by providing insightful analysis and strategic recommendations to optimize business processes and performance.
The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a deep understanding of the media industry.
They will work closely with stakeholders across various departments to gather requirements, analyze data, and identify opportunities for improvement.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct in-depth analysis of business processes, systems, and performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and optimization.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and define project objectives and success criteria.
- Develop and maintain detailed documentation of business requirements, user stories, and functional specifications.
- Utilize analytical tools and techniques to extract, manipulate, and analyze large datasets from multiple sources.
- Interpret data and present findings in a clear and actionable manner to stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
- Identify trends, patterns, and insights to inform strategic decision-making and drive business growth.
- Support ad-hoc analysis and special projects as required.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Economics, Finance, Statistics, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Business Analyst or similar role in the media, advertising, or marketing industry.
- Proficiency in data analysis tools and techniques, such as SQL, Excel, Tableau, or similar tools.
- Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive and results-oriented mindset.
- Knowledge of digital media platforms, advertising technologies, and media buying processes is highly desirable.
