Job summary:

J.P. Morgan Chase Bank NA (JPMCB) is a single bank branch in Mumbai rapidly expanding its revenue footprint in India. 

As a professional in Corporate & Investment Bank Operations group in JPMCB you will be managing and support Global Market Operations which manages products like Rates- Interest rates swap, Currency swap, FX Options-vanilla and structured options, Swaptions and Forward rate agreement.

Job responsibilities:

• Having thorough knowledge Derivatives Operations.
• Being well versed with all the regulatory guidelines governing these products.
• Possess strong knowledge of Banking norms in general and RBI regulations and guidelines in specific.
• Manage independently CCIL reporting and settlements for derivative transactions. 
• Preferable to have expertise in verification of underling documents such as purchase / sale agreement, import / export invoices, commercial invoice, MSA, Buyers credit, suppliers’ credit, etc. 
• Interact with external clients to follow up on cash flow settlements, SSI.
• Liaise with Compliance, Legal, Finance and Front Office team(s) as and when need arises.
• Carry out independently system enhancements related to derivative processes, prepare BRD, conduct UAT, liaise and explain processes to various stakeholders such as Legal, Technology, senior management, and FO.

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills :

• Postgraduate (MBA-Finance)/Qualified CA with work experience of handling different products within Market Operations Team.
• Strong understanding of Local Regulatory requirements  
• Positive Attitude and ability to get things done independently
• Excellent communication skills - verbal and written  
• Automation mindset to creating efficiency and enhance controls.
• Interpersonal and Partnership skills  

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills :

• Preferable to have expertise in derivative exotic products such as exotic options, swaptions, etc.
