Job Description

USPB Client Operations Vice President - The Wealth Management VP is responsible for various processes within the life cycle of financial products. The individual will be expected to work in a large team environment supporting a variety of other areas within the firm such as Front Office, Product, Client Service, Transformation and other global operations teams. The successful candidate will be required to quickly learn, understand and support as needed the functions and services provided by Wealth Management to its clients.

Core Responsibilities

  • Manage exceptions arising as trades flow through multiple control checks
  • Timely and accurate execution and verification of all instructions received from internal partners and global teams
  • Process and assure completeness of all requests
  • Respond promptly and accurately to Front Office requests
  • Produce high quality performance and accuracy to best meet our client's needs and expectations
  • Partner closely with other operations teams to ensure no downstream or upstream impact and all key stakeholders are in loop.
  • Ensure adherence to all service level commitments, process controls, and escalation policies
  • Work closely with teammates to maximize efficiency
  • Proactively focus on issues and adjust rapidly to changes in the team, the market, or Wealth management to deliver sound recommendations for process improvement
  • Engage with Business and Project teams on a regular basis to agree on Book of work and timelines.
  • Chair regular senior level governance forums and ensure timely communication on all aspects including but not limited to Project Timelines, Capacity, up coming Tasks, etc
  • Groom talent and provide career guidance and other support as needed.

Key Skill Sets 

  • 12 – 15 years of relevant operations experience, including minimum of 5 years of people and team management experience.
  • Strong organizational and prioritization skills, detail oriented, and strong interpersonal skills
  • Able to work independently with minimum supervision
  • Strong Change mindset and ability to challenge the status quo
  • Should have experience working on transformation project including Tactical and Strategic
  • Experience in managing large teams and also Manager to people Manager
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong Stakeholder Management
  • Proficient in making presentations, scorecards and presenting data to senior stakeholders
  • Volume analysis, capacity planning and HC assessment are an added advantage.
  • Assume ownership and responsibility to accomplish goals
  • Strong intellectual capacity for process improvements
