About the Role:

  • FindLaw ( is the leading provider of online legal information and solutions for the legal community, professionals and consumers in the United States.
  • FindLaw is seeking a Copywriter to create/manage web content for attorneys and law firms. Create online content of attorney and their firms and restructure custom content written for law firm Web sites. The content is intended to attract Internet users and convert them into law firm clients.  In this role, you will be responsible for managing subscriptions and completing profiles of attorneys and their firms. Proofreading skills will be helpful.
  • Write customized narratives for attorneys and law firms.
  • Manage administrative work related to Web publishing
  • Complete attorney profile fulfilment
  • Create/curate scripts related to practice area
  • Adhere to documented processes and best practices .
  • Adept at content creation tools and applications
  • Fair understanding of digital media (including but not limited to websites)
  • Familiarity with standard business systems including Microsoft Office suite
  • Knowledgeable in Associated Press (AP) style. (As part of the application process, candidates will be given a general aptitude and English language test.)
  • Should be familiar with Web technologies and Digital marketing, and preferably have experience with content management systems in a Windows environment
  • Customer Focus
  • Researches content issues for customers and responds with clear and accurate answers as required.
  • Acts as a liaison with other sites, business centers, and customers.
  • May assist in preparing competitive materials as required.
  • Organizes and facilitates team meetings and represents team on task forces and proactively communicates to and influences others.
  • Serves as subject matter expert to other business partners in assigned areas across company and to 3rd party vendors.
  • Develops and provides training for less experienced team members.

About You,

  • Education: Any graduate
  • Necessary industry experience & associated number of years of experience.
  • Three years or more of related experience working with content intended for a US audience.
  • Excellent general aptitude
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to meet tight deadlines and strict production goals
  • Must be task-oriented and deadline-driven with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • May provide support to other areas of customer services operation.
