Position Overview:

As the Operations Manager - Distribution within our Tea Brand Division, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the efficient distribution and logistics operations of our new tea brand. You will be responsible for ensuring that our products reach customers promptly and seamlessly, while maintaining the highest standards of quality and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

• Distribution Strategy Development: Develop and implement effective distribution strategies to ensure optimal market penetration and reach for our tea brand.
• Logistics Management: Oversee the end-to-end logistics process, including transportation, warehousing, and inventory management, to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of products.
• Vendor Management: Identify, negotiate with, and manage relationships with third-party logistics providers, distributors, and suppliers to support distribution operations.
• Quality Control: Implement rigorous quality control measures to uphold product quality standards throughout the distribution process, from packaging to delivery.
• Team Leadership: Lead and motivate a team of distribution and logistics professionals, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure operational excellence.
• Performance Monitoring: Develop and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess the efficiency and effectiveness of distribution operations, and implement improvements as needed.
• Compliance: Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards governing distribution operations, including health and safety, import/export regulations, and product labeling requirements.
• Collaboration: Collaborate closely with other departments such as marketing, sales, and production to align distribution strategies with overall business objectives and customer demand.
• Budget Management: Manage the distribution budget effectively, optimizing costs while ensuring the highest level of service and quality.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, supply chain management, logistics, or a related field. Master’s degree preferred.
• Proven experience 3 years in distribution and logistics management, preferably in the food or beverage industry.
• Strong understanding of distribution processes, supply chain management principles, and logistics best practices.
• Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams to achieve common goals.
• Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
• Proficiency in relevant software and tools for logistics and supply chain management.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to overcoming challenges.
