They have successfully represented Jasper Offshore, Singapore; CPOE (Subsidiary of CNPC), China; and Gulf Drilling International, Qatar in ONGC for Offshore Jack up Rigs besides timely support with crew and material for the execution of contract awarded to its clients.

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Tool Pusher. The Tool Pusher will be responsible for supervising and leading rig crew to ensure drilling and completion operations are executed safely and efficiently. They will also be responsible for monitoring drilling operations, maintaining equipment, and ensuring compliance with safety procedures and regulations.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 - 5 years of working experience on an offshore Jack Up rig as a Driller/Assistant Driller
• Overseeing all drilling work practices and rig operations to ensure compliance with contractual requirements, performance criteria, and mandatory rules and regulations.
• Ensuring safe working conditions on the rig site, instructs the erecting, dismantling, and lifting of various drilling rig types, and guides the drilling crew in rig moving operations.
• Manages and assists in setting up and operating rig equipment- draw works, power units, and other drilling apparatus. Ensuring all necessary rig components, spare parts, and tools are available.
• Coordinating the mixing and circulation of drilling mud to control downhole pressures as the well progresses while utilizing the required mud weight to avoid blowouts from fluid influx into the well.
• Instructing the installation of the blow out preventer used to regulate the uncontrolled flow of hydrocarbon during the drilling procedure and making sure oil and gas well cementing meets operational needs and the availability of all essential tools, equipment, and resources.
• Managing supplies deficiencies and informs the senior drilling supervisor of the status of such deprivations.
• Cooperating with technical drilling engineers to draft a detailed maintenance plan for optimal use of the drilling equipment, and keep inspections and accurate inventory count of drill pipe on the rig.
• Ensuring all personnel understand the inventory used in rig oilfield operations and leading safety meetings of the drilling crew.
• Overseeing that subordinates use the proper personal protective equipment and promptly report any accident, safety hazard, near-misses, and non-conformance to their immediate superior
• Maintaining proper housekeeping on the rig site and doing periodic checks of the efficiency of the safety devices and equipment on the rig site.

Certifications Required:

• Valid BOSIET (Basic Offshore Safety Induction and Emergency Training) Certificate
• Well Control Certificate (Supervisor Level, Surface/Subsea BOP Stack issued by an institution approved by IWCF)
• Experience on an offshore Jack up rig
• Experience with Conventional drilling package
• Operational Tool pusher experience
