We are a rapidly expanding ecommerce company ready for significant growth. We specialize in offering a diverse range of products sourced from a vast network of suppliers. As we continue to expand our online presence, we are looking for a dynamic Ecommerce Operations Assistant to join our team. This role will be crucial in managing supplier communications, assisting with content management on our Shopify platform, and supporting our marketing initiatives.
Job Responsibilities:
- Supplier Coordination: Manage and schedule meetings with suppliers, handle ongoing queries, and maintain strong professional relationships.
- Content Management: Assist in managing and updating product listings and content on our Shopify ecommerce platform. Training will be provided, although prior experience with Shopify or web design is highly valued.
- Marketing Support: Learn and implement digital marketing strategies including social media management, email marketing, and SEO. Training will be provided, but a keen interest and basic knowledge in digital marketing are preferred.
- Administrative Support: Perform administrative tasks as needed to support ecommerce operations and team communications.
Required Skills:
- Strong Communication Skills: Excellent proficiency in English is mandatory; proficiency in Hindi is a significant plus.
- Computer Literacy: Must have basic to medium computer skills. Familiarity with ecommerce platforms like Shopify or any front-end/web design experience is highly advantageous.
- Learning Agility: Eager to learn new skills, particularly in digital marketing and ecommerce best practices.
- Organizational Skills: Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently and adapt to the evolving needs of a fast-paced business environment.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma required; a degree in Business, Marketing, Communication, or a related field is preferred.
- Previous experience in a similar role is advantageous but not mandatory.
