Location: Bangalore/Chennai/CoimbatoreType: PermanentWork Hours: US EST [ Shift by rotation ]Mode of work - HybridResponsibilities :- Manage, monitor, and maintain approximately 25 SQL Server clusters.- Implement and maintain database security policies that align with company standards.- Perform data modeling and optimize database performance through monitoring, troubleshooting, and tuning.- Develop and implement strategies for database recovery and backup, as well as disaster recovery plans.- Work closely with IT project managers, database operatros, and application programmers.- Document the company's database environment and ensure all compliance regulations are met.- Assist in the design and deployment of new database architectures.Additional infoAdministering automated workflow tools, middleware application servers (i.e., Oracle Weblogic, IBM WebSphere), providing J2EE application deployment.Required Qualifications :- Bachelor's degree, Information Technology, or related field.- Strong experience as a DBA with extensive experience in managing SQL Server environments.- Professional certifications in Microsoft Certified: Microsoft Database Administrator Associate or equivalent SQL Server certifications.- Profound knowledge of logical DBA operations and activities.- Experience in Database ETL activities, reporting, and MS SQL Cluster management. Responsibilities include monthly optimization, incident response, and MACD activities.- Demonstrated ability to work independently as well as part of a team.- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills.Preferred Qualifications :- Experience with SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS), SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS), and SQL Server Analysis Services (SSAS).- Experience in managing large-scale database projects.- Advanced knowledge of SQL coding and optimization techniques.
