Position Summary

A Flexo Machine Operator is responsible for the setup, operation, and maintenance of flexographic printing machines. This role involves ensuring high-quality printing, troubleshooting any issues that arise during production, and maintaining a clean and safe work environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Setup and Operation :
  • Set up flexographic printing presses according to job specifications and instructions.
    
  • Operate flexographic presses to print on various substrates (e.g., paper, plastic, foil) following job orders and quality standards.
    
• Quality Control :
  • Monitor the quality of the printed materials, adjusting the machine settings as needed to maintain high standards.
    
  • Conduct quality checks, including color consistency, registration, and alignment.
    
• Maintenance :
  • Perform routine maintenance on the flexographic printing machines to ensure optimal performance.
    
  • Troubleshoot and resolve any mechanical or printing issues promptly to minimize downtime.
    
• Safety and Cleanliness :
  • Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations to ensure a safe working environment.
    
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace, including cleaning the printing press and surrounding area.
