Linux System Administrator

Linux System Administrator (Red hat Linux + Shell Scripting L3 ) :Job Description :Must to Have :- Install, Configure and maintain Linux Operating systems- Trouble shooting OS and Hardware issues- Performing incidents Service requests, change and problem management activities- Perform unix server builds, decommission and upgrades- Vendor Co-ordinations- Monitor system performs and ensure compliance with security standards- Apply OS patches and upgrades- Perform performance tuning ,hardware upgrades, and resource optimization required.- Create and modify automation script to perform OS administration tasks.- Define operational procedure and documentation Knowledge of SQL, Databases.- The applicant should feel comfortable with system administration of Unix/Linux infrastructure/Application, as well as a general understanding of Windows servers. - Knowledge of MQ and Autosys. - Scripting of operational administration tasks in one or more languages like Perl, Shell Scripting, Python...etc- The individual should have strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks in high pressure situations for Incident handling, management and resolution. - Be available for weekend and on-call work.- Experience in incident, problem and change management.- Effective oral and written communication skills and interpersonal skills as well as the ability to work well in a team environment.Good to Have :- Good knowledge on Redhatlinux system administration and trouble shooting- Basic knowledge on networking and storage- Experience with Linux servers virtualized environments- Familiarity with the fundamentals of linux scripting Languages- Proficient with network tool such as Iptables , Linus IPVS, HAProxyEtc (ref:hirist.tech)
