Title - Mainframe System Administration

Work Location – Pune

Experience – 5 to 8 Years

Must Have – Mainframe, DB2, SQL, Experience in Z/OS administration, SAS, storage management.

Job Description

• Experienced Mainframe professional with 5 to 8 years of hands-on experience in Mainframe System Administration.

• Good Knowledge of Mainframe z/OS system upgrade/maintenance.

• Good knowledge of tools/products like Changeman, Abend-Aid, ZEKE, $AVRS, View Direct, or CMOD.

Mandatory Skills:

• Good knowledge of Mainframe z/OS system upgrade/maintenance.

• Should have the skill to understand the manual and extract the installation plan to apply maintenance and upgrade the products.

• Knowledge of SMP/E tool is preferred.

• Knowledge of Omegamon Tool is preferred.

• Knowledge of CA SRM tool is preferred.

• Understand the mainframe system and perform tuning.

Knowledge with the below MF core background is preferred.

• Strong IBM MF skills,

• Good knowledge of TSO/E, ISPF, MVS, JCL, DB2, CICS, file storage methods like VSAM.

• Good knowledge of tools/products like Changeman, Abend-Aid, ZEKE, $AVRS, View Direct, or CMOD.

• Assembler programming is mandatory.

• Experience in Z/OS administration, SAS, storage management is preferred.

• Fundamentals of DB2 and SQL.

• Alignment and agreement to work as MF System Programmers going forth.
