ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Job Purpose/Objective To assist BU Head in all day to day matters related to IR & Admin at the BU Level.
Key responsibilities
INDUSTRIAL RELATIONS
- Promote measures for ensuring harmonious industrial relations with employees and contract employees and other public stakeholders.
- Scan the industrial relations climate inside the facility and also in the locality and report to the BU Head periodically.
- Liaisoning with Central and State Labour departments.
- Coordinating with company legal advisors regarding statutory matters and court cases.
STATUTORY COMPLIANCES
- Securing various statutory licenses from depts. like Factories / Pollution Control Board consents / Panchayat license, contract labour registration / license etc. and their periodical renewal, wherever applicable.
- Complying with the requirements of various Laws including periodic maintenance of registers and records, timely submission of statutory returns, display of notices under various statutes,
- Contributions and submission of all statutory returns with respect to these laws by the Contractors.
- Keeping track of all contracts / agreements with outsourcing contractors and their timely renewal.
ADMINISTRATION
- Overall Administration and day to day administration requirements.
- Ensure Vehicle arrangements within the BU and outside BU are me as per requirements.
- Ensure smooth function of Canteen & Paramedic unit at the BU.
- Housekeeping - Implementation of Housekeeping Plan and bring about 5S culture in the Business Unit.
- Overseeing administration of the company Canteens and ensuring quality, hygiene and good housekeeping in the canteens. Conduct periodic canteen management committee meetings and minute meeting procedures.
- Ensuring all vehicles inside the facility has adequate RTO licenses / clearances.
- Ensure that the Company Security, Health, Safety & Environment policy and procedures are observed as well as relevant safety legislation and the provisions of the relevant Health and Safety & Environment Acts.

- Vehicle administration
- Contract Management
- House-keeping, general administration & gardening of facility
- Statutory Compliances
- To implement, govern and maintain all Administration related functions.
- Maintenance of all Contracts related to administration
QUALIFICATIONS & COMPETENCIES Skills and Competencies
- Graduation or Post Graduation in IR/Labour Laws/Social Work
- At least 8 – 10 years experience in related areas
- Good interpersonal and communication skills
- Excellent negotiation skills
- Excellent and updated knowledge about labour laws.

Graduation or Post Graduation in IR/Labour Laws/Social Work
