Manager of Ad Optimization and Operations

We’re seeking a Manager of Ad Optimization and Operations with 5-8 years of experience in programmatic yield optimization, data analysis, and ad operations. As the Manager of Ad Optimization and Operations, you will lead a team responsible for ad performance, ads and product A/B test analysis and delivery of ad campaigns. Leveraging your expertise in yield management, data analysis, and team leadership, you will develop and implement strategies to enhance monetization efforts and drive business growth.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a team of yield analysts, ad operations specialists, and optimization experts to maximize the efficiency and effectiveness of advertising inventory.
• Coordinate with global ad leaders to manage work and set expectations as the ad leader for the India team.
• Develop and implement strategies to optimize ad yield, including pricing strategies, inventory forecasting, and inventory allocation.
• Monitor and analyze key performance indicators, assess ad performance, and identify areas for improvement.
• Utilize data analysis tools and techniques to generate insights, identify trends, and make data-driven recommendations for optimizing inventory allocation and targeting strategies.
• Develop and implement yield management processes, campaign management workflows, and best practices to improve efficiency, scalability, and revenue generation.
• Provide guidance, mentorship, and training to associates in yield optimization strategies, best practices, and analytics techniques.
• Conduct regular performance reviews, provide coaching and feedback, and support the professional development of team members.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field. Master's degree is a plus.
• 5-8 years of experience in digital advertising, with a focus on yield management, ad operations, or optimization roles.
• Strong understanding of digital advertising ecosystem, including ad serving technologies, programmatic buying, and ad formats.
• Excellent analytical skills with proficiency in data analysis tools such as Microsoft Excel, Google Sheets, SQL, or Tableau.
• Leadership experience with a demonstrated ability to inspire, mentor, and develop high-performing teams.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and communicate technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
• Strategic mindset with the ability to develop innovative solutions, identify opportunities for optimization, and drive continuous improvement.
• Proactive attitude, attention to detail, and ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
