Job Description - Manager, Retail Operations

We at Furlenco are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Retail Manager to lead our team in achieving profit, process, and expansion goals. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in retail operations, business development, and customer experience.

The manager will be responsible for developing strategic plans, managing store design and layout, creating efficient people pipelines, and driving sales and expansion goals.

The successful candidate will be a team player with excellent communication and leadership skills, and a proven track record of success in the retail industry.

CoCo Stores Operations:

  • Develop and implement strategic plans to achieve profit and EBIT%
  • Undertake customer connect activities in catchment area to drive walkin
  • Liaison with Digital Marketing Team to run store visits campaigns and creating marketing inventories
  • Work closely with Marketing and design team for layouts , product displays and in store / OOH communications
  • Lead the charter with Design and Category team to introduce new products based on customer and market research
  • Enhance operations process SOP and provide coaching and mentoring to team members to enhance their skills and knowledge
  • Augment consumer experience by managing all retail and sales touch points
  • Monitor and analyze sales and customer data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
  • Create dashboards for efficient management and reporting
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive business growth and achieve organisational goals
  • Ensure compliance with all company policies and procedures.
  • Custodian of store expenses and overall P&L

Partner Stores Expansion:

  • 0-1 set up and scaling up of partner stores PAN India
  • Partner scouting and negotiations
  • BOQ finalization and vendor collaboration
  • Supervising the stores set-up end to end
  • Setup processes and ensure seamless operations of all partner stores
  • Hiring and training of brand promoters

Preferred candidate profile

  • Bachelor's / Masters degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field
  • Minimum of 4-8 years of experience in retail operations, business development, and customer experience
  • Proven track record of success in the retail industry
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines
  • Proficiency in Google Suite and other relevant software
  • Strong understanding of retail operations, including VM, customer service, and sales
  • Experience in managing and developing a team
