Job Description: Operations Advisor, Campaign Team
Job Description:
The Enterprise Print & Distribution (EP&D) Campaign team is responsible for developing comprehensive specification documents and the set-up of technical criteria for strategic enterprise communications.
The Operations Advisor engages in cross-functional, strategic communication campaigns in an Ad-Hoc/one-off environment. Supports data creation, enhancement, and template management. The position performs the setup and execution tasks to run and fulfill campaigns.
Primary Functions:
- The Advisor will be a user of Unica IMO, Mail Merge, Quadient, and JIRA. Possess the ability to build templates, processes, and implement best practices across similar campaign toolsets.
- Prioritize and manage multiple projects with cross functional teams
- Independently develops and gains approval from business sponsors for campaign results
- Develop project task plan with all key milestones required to achieve communication objectives in desired timeline
- The Advisor will have the ability to multi-task several requests
- Management and oversight of campaign executions utilizing UNICA or RedPoint suite of tools
- Review and understanding of QC reports
- Leverages knowledge of company database, campaign tools, and principles
- Triage, research and resolve member issues that require escalation support from business partners
- Use best practices and knowledge to improve processes, products, and services
- Develop strong partnerships with cross-enterprise partners, coordinating efforts to achieve goals, leveraging best practices
- Perform appropriate data cleansing and data formatting tasks
- Strong skills with Mail Merge software
- Experience with Content Management software (Quadient)
- Generate letter template and proofs with proper formatting and editing
Key Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- 8+ years relevant experience in Mail Merge, Campaign automation software, and Content Management software
- Knowledge and use of Teradata SQL, Oracle SQL, or comparable programming language
- Marketing services provider experience preferred
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to speak with technical and nontechnical audiences interchangeably
- Thorough understanding of customer contact and communications tactics across direct marketing to include direct mail, email, phone, messaging and digital
- Proven ability to manage multi-channel, direct marketing campaigns and/or database marketing experience
- Agile creative problem solver who is detailed, and solution oriented
- Background with marketing programs
- Demonstrated ability to deliver against aggressive timelines
- Proven ability to plan for and integrate multiple tasks concurrently as well as work independently
- Ability to identify and engage cross-functional teams in support of project completion, while obtaining needed buy-in from stakeholders
- Effectively collaborates with the internal partners in a highly matrix organization including Campaign Management and Operations, Product Managers, Technology and Communication Fulfillment teams
- Proficient to IBM Marketing Operation (IMO), campaign automation software, Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), and Mail Merge skills required
