Platform Architect

Responsibilities :Build, implement, manage, and support the Medi Assist technology infrastructure strategy including computers, storage, databases, and cloud operations for technology platforms and compliance (Linux, Oracle, SQL, Windows, AWS, Azure, and GCP).Oversee the implementation, maintenance, and support of all technology infrastructure, including hardware, software, networks, and security systems.Management of Application Release and Change Processes (Dev-Ops)Oversee all phases of project execution including initiation, planning/development, production/execution, monitors/controls, and closing/post-release activities for larger projects.Direct and mentor a team of IT professionals (20+), fostering a collaborative culture and continuous improvement mindset.Collaborate with senior leadership to translate new opportunities into an actionable roadmap, track progress, and deliver new product capabilities on time and on budget.Function as the Infrastructure solutions project leader to prioritize and manage project deadlines, navigate simultaneous projects and other cross-functional team demands, and ensure timely and effective execution and delivery of projects and related deliverablesLead the technical design to modernize and refresh end-of-life technology such as operating system and database upgrades, cloud migrations, and re-platforming of legacy systems.Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, including but not limited to compliance and operational risk.Analyze processes, issues, and bottlenecks and make recommendations for improvements.Partner with the core operations and automation teams to meet deadlines set by leadership, resolve infrastructure issues, and automate overly manual processes.Drive accountability and metrics ownership, while effectively communicating information to the organizationThis is the role for you if:You are a hands-on IT leader with extensive Infrastructure technical experience and have progressively moved through the ranks of IT.Your background includes a combination of On-Premise and Cloud experience. (AWS, GCP & Azure)You are the champion of continuous improvement of IT infrastructure processes and technology, promoting standardization and compliance, whilst ensuring robust security.You have Healthcare Industry experience.Requirements :Qualification Required: 4-year Bachelors OR Masters degree in Computer Engineering or Computer Science.Years of experience: 9 - 14 years.You have experience in data center operations including the implementation and support of private and hybrid public cloud computing environments.You have experience building, scaling and and monitoring infrastructure for a distributed organization.You have proven experience in managing IT infrastructure operations, and technology management, preferably in a leadership role.You have knowledge of networking, computing, storage, IaaS, PaaS solutions, cloud operations, system administration, and service desk.You have a deep understanding of On-Prem and cloud security concepts, including Firewalls, VPCs, Encryption, Authentication, and Authorization (SSO, Active Directory/LDAP, etc. )You have experience in managing technology vendors, recruiting, and building high- performing teams.
