Production And Operations Manager

Brisil has a vacancy for Production & Operations Manager whose main responsibility would be to operate the production units, and addressing the operations & technical problems.

The major area of work would be related to plant & material operation/production of advanced materials and chemicals units.

Candidate should be B.Tech. (Chemical) with 5 to 8 years of experience in Production from a reputed chemical/FMCG company, and should have experience in handling the production process, equipment etc.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Running day to day operations of a chemical plants
• Manage Manpower, stocks, utility etc of the plant
• Developing and implementing innovative strategies to streamline factory operations.
• Developing production plans & targets as per order volume and execution of the production plans
• Analysing production data to identify and resolve any production issues and getting optimum performance & yields
• Preparing production reports and submitting them to key decision-makers.
• Regularly inspecting finished products to ensure product quality
• Be responsible for production output, product quality and on-time shipping
• Implementing maintenance schedule, conducting periodic checks, maintaining technical documents
• Handling customer visits to the plant and able to manage customer audits by big customers 

Required Experience, Skills and Qualifications

• Proven academic record
• Ability to work independently as well as with the team
• Experienced in MS office (MS Word, XL, PPT), ERP Softwares
• Self-motivated and results driven, ability to lead the team.
• B.Tech./BE preferably in Chemical/Material Science Engineering from premier engg. institute
• Minimum 5-7 years of work experience with a big chemical/FMCG/material company
