Job Description:
Housejoy, a leading home services provider based in Bangalore, Karnataka, is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Administrative Assistant to join our team on a full-time basis. This position is at the Associate Level and requires a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience in administrative support roles.
Responsibilities: 1. Manage and coordinate administrative tasks and functions to ensure smooth operations within the office. 2. Handle incoming and outgoing communications, including phone calls, emails, and mail correspondence. 3. Schedule appointments, meetings, and travel arrangements for senior management and other team members. 4. Maintain accurate records and documentation, including filing, data entry, and record-keeping. 5. Assist with drafting and editing documents, reports, and presentations as needed. 6. Provide support for special projects, events, and initiatives as directed by the management team. 7. Coordinate office equipment maintenance and supply orders to ensure the office is fully operational. 8. Assist with onboarding new employees and managing HR-related paperwork and processes. 9. Act as a liaison between different departments, external stakeholders, and clients as needed. 10. Support team members with ad-hoc tasks and projects to facilitate productivity and efficiency.
Requirements: 1. Bachelor's degree in business administration or related field is preferred. 2. Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook). 3. Excellent organizational and time management skills with a keen eye for detail. 4. Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to interact professionally with all levels of staff. 5. Proven experience in handling sensitive and confidential information with discretion. 6. Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple projects simultaneously. 7. Demonstrated people management skills and emotional intelligence to navigate diverse workplace dynamics. 8. Ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment and take initiative to solve problems proactively. 9. Strong work ethic and commitment to upholding ethical standards and confidentiality. 10. Previous experience in the service industry or a similar field is a plus.
