Hybrid Working

Structured hybrid role:
At Barclays, we offer a hybrid working experience that blends the positives of working alongside colleagues at our onsite locations, together with working from home. We have a structured approach where colleagues work at an onsite location on fixed, 'anchor', days of the week, for a minimum of two days a week or more, as set by the business area (or nearest equivalent if working part-time hours). Introduction:

Crypto Analyst role resides within the CSO Cryptography team, the individual will be responsible to work on Governance and Risk Management related activities.

What will you be doing

. Ensure any existing and newly identified risks are managed inline with Barclays and IIP expectations.
. Drive robust acceptance policy for all RTB activities requiring crypto solutions.
. Look for ways to improve the service and use projects and BAU team to implement improvements and enhancements.

What we're looking for:

. Analytical skills
. Excel skills including use of vlookup, sumif, pivot tables
. Understanding of risk - ability to realise there can be multiple risks depending on options and to question SMEs to help get to the best solution as well as articulating the residual risk
. Willingness to learn specifically crypto to better understand risks.
. Minimum education qualification-Graduate

Skills that will help you in the role:

. Good understanding of Cryptography with a Governance lens.
. Good data analysis skill.
. Awareness of major internal support functions and services.
. Technical knowledge in relation to risk, particularly around confidentiality, integrity and authenticity
. Good understanding of operational IT security monitoring and administration tools.
. Service First experience.
