Job Description - Senior Manager Network Administration

PRINCIPLE PURPOSE OF JOB

The primary focus of a Manager Network Administration is to evaluate and develop new voice and data network solutions, drive technology project delivery efforts, provide advanced technical support for all Datacenter LAN/WAN/voice components, as well as the LAN/WAN/voice components at Cotiviti sites, and provide technical mentoring to other team members. Senior Network Engineers develop and implement new solutions, improve existing solutions, and provide a path of escalation for complex or high-risk IT requests.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Documentation - Develop and champion documentation standards. Document all project work. Identify and close any gaps in the existing documentation of the infrastructure.

• Service Delivery - Manage the overall Network Services Team support response and communications for all outages. Available as needed for escalation of support incidents. Available for after hours on-call support. Organize and participate in after-hours maintenance. Keep IT management apprised of critical issues. Provide feedback and recommendations regarding service delivery improvements

• Technology Delivery - Assist team in the delivery of projects. Organize, drive, and track assigned IT projects. Complete tasks in a timely and quality fashion. Develop and champion implementation, quality control, and change control standards. Provide client or vendor facing support/representation/escalation

• Innovation - Identify and implement new technology needs. Research technical concepts and educate other team members as needed. Present research / proposed projects to IT management. Lead team in technology evaluations.

RELEVANT EXPERIENCE & EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS

• 12+ years Network Engineering experience or related. CCIE,CCNP and/or JNCIP,JNCIE preferred.

• Bachelors Degree (or higher) preferred (or equivalent experience in Information Technologies).

• Subject matter expertise in all areas of networking including routing, switching, firewalling, VoIP solutions, and information security

• Fluency with IT systems (Microsoft, storage, etc.)

• Ability to manage situations of catastrophic failure or of a high risk and critical nature sound, and accomplishes the intended purpose. Builds effective relationships of trust and credibility with internal customers that lead to stronger buy-in and sponsorship within the businesses and with external customers, partners and suppliers.
