About the Role:

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Shopify Operations Specialist to join our growing team. In this role, you will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of our Shopify store, ensuring a smooth and efficient customer experience. You will also be instrumental in identifying and implementing opportunities to enhance user experience and drive sales growth.

Key Responsibilities:

Shopify Platform Management:

• Oversee day-to-day operations of the Shopify platform, including product catalog management, order processing, and inventory control.
• Monitor website performance, uptime, and security to ensure a seamless shopping experience for customers.
• Implement best practices for SEO, site speed optimization, and mobile responsiveness to drive traffic and improve conversions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate Shopify with other business systems and applications.

Custom Development and Integration:

• Develop custom Shopify themes, templates, and functionalities to enhance the user experience and meet business requirements.
• Customize Shopify apps and plugins or develop new ones as needed to extend platform capabilities.
• Integrate third-party systems and APIs with Shopify, such as payment gateways, shipping providers, and marketing tools.
• Troubleshoot technical issues and implement solutions to address performance bottlenecks or system errors.

E-commerce Analytics and Reporting:

• Set up tracking tools and analytics dashboards to monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and track e-commerce metrics.
• Analyze website traffic, sales data, and customer behavior to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
• Generate regular reports and insights to inform decision-making and drive continuous optimization of the e-commerce platform.
• Team Collaboration and Support:
• Collaborate with designers, marketers, and content creators to ensure a cohesive brand experience and effective merchandising strategies.
• Provide technical support and training to internal stakeholders on Shopify platform usage and best practices.
• Stay updated on Shopify updates, new features, and industry trends to recommend and implement innovative solutions.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in e-commerce operations and Shopify development.
• Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Liquid programming language.
• Solid understanding of Shopify platform architecture, APIs, and backend development.
• Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and deployment workflows.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on delivering results.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Other requirements:

• Personal Laptop is mandatory.
• Shopify and Liquid coding experience is a must have.
• Exp in Fashion Industry would be add on advantage.
