Solidworks Operator

JOB RESPONSIBILITY:

CAD Modeling: Utilize computer-aided design (CAD) software to create 2D and 3D models of machine components and assemblies ON OFFICIAL SOLID WORKS CLOUD SOFTWARE. Design Engineers should have proficiency in CAD tools to accurately visualize and refine machine designs.

Prototyping and Testing: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to build prototypes of textile machinery based on design specifications. Conduct thorough testing and analysis of prototypes to evaluate performance, reliability, and compliance with industry standards.

Materials Selection: Select appropriate materials and components for machine construction based on performance requirements, durability, cost-effectiveness, and manufacturing feasibility. Design Engineers must have knowledge of various materials used in machine fabrication and their properties.

Design Optimization: Continuously assess and refine machine designs to enhance functionality, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness. Implement design improvements based on feedback from stakeholders, market trends, and technological advancements.

Documentation and Technical Support: Prepare comprehensive design documentation, including engineering drawings, specifications, and manuals. Provide technical support to production teams, suppliers, and customers regarding design-related inquiries, troubleshooting, and customization requirements.

Compliance and Regulations: Ensure that machine designs comply with relevant industry standards, safety regulations, and quality assurance protocols. Design Engineers should stay updated on regulatory requirements and incorporate necessary design modifications to meet compliance standards.

Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including R&D, production, sales, and customer support, to coordinate design activities and ensure alignment with organizational goals. Effective communication skills are essential for conveying design concepts, progress updates, and technical information to stakeholders.

Laser Cutting Work: Utilize laser cutting technology to fabricate precision parts and components for textile machinery. Design Engineers should have proficiency in CAD/CAM software for creating laser-cut patterns and programming laser cutting machines to ensure accurate and efficient cutting operations.

On-Site Measurement: Occasionally visit client sites or manufacturing facilities to gather precise measurements, assess installation requirements, and evaluate operational conditions. Collaborate with field engineers or technicians to collect data and ensure that machine designs align with site-specific constraints and specifications.

Timings: 9 AM to 7 PM, Sundays Off

Location: Sachin GIDC Surat

Salary: Depends on Skill and Experience
