Job Description - System Analyst

We have an exciting opportunity for you to join our team as Systems Analyst , reporting to the Senior Technology Manager, India, this full-time and permanent position is based in Mumbai, India and offers regional coverage, allowing you to make a significant impact to our CLM Program Management department and its’ growth.

Purpose of Role

To support the Technology Leadership Team in gathering & analyzing business requirements, designing and delivering the Technology for the Entity Management system components. The role serves as a technical link between the component in a platform and the wider global business, thereby enabling the component to meet the needs of the business. Work with the platform management team to deliver on a mutually agreed component roadmap, whilst simultaneously ensuring the smooth and efficient running of the component working with the assigned operational owner of the component.

Scope

This role has no direct reports and will work with various departments and functions, across all regions on the agreed objectives. Functions include Payroll, Commercial, Risk, Legal, Finance, Tax, Compliance, HR, Operations, and Technology.

Besides possible other projects or platforms, the primary project you will be working on involves the project planning, execution, monitoring, and control of the product development of the Overseas Connect platform.

Key Responsibilities

  • Jointly responsible with the operational service component owner for maintaining and implementing the component roadmap, backlog, and ensuring these are aligned to the strategic vision for the platform.
  • Jointly responsible with the operational service component owner in ensuring the component is run effectively, properly governed, controlled and that the business users are fully trained and supported.
  • Work closely with the platform owners on change prioritisation and sequencing, with practical consideration to benefits, costs, resource constraints, dependencies, technology/business strategy, risk, complexity, governance, architectural integrity and technical fit with other platform changes.
  • Drive the continuous improvement of the component(s) by reviewing backlog,
  • enhancement requests and upcoming business requirements
  • Simplify the requirements, complications and solution so they can be easily understood across the whole team
  • Develop change mobilisation deliverables like Business Cases to mobilise change efforts within the program
  • Perform appropriate Change Management activities such as Stakeholder analysis in order to help reach the right decisions and deliver the required changes
  • Understand and negotiate needs and expectations of multiple stakeholders
  • Analyse and document Business Requirements, User Cases / User Stories
  • Collaborate closely with colleagues such as the Application development and service delivery teams to implement the requirements, provide necessary guidance to testers during QA process
  • Manage User Acceptance Testing (UAT)

Key Requirements

  • The ability to influence stakeholders and work closely with them to determine acceptable solutions.
  • Excellent documentation and analysis skills.
  • Fundamental analytical and conceptual thinking skills.
  • Experience creating detailed reports and giving presentations to senior Business and Technology leaders
  • Competency in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, Visio and Power Point. Clarizen and Jira experience is desirable
  • A track record of following through on commitments.
  • Excellent planning, organizational, and time management skills.
  • A minimum of 4 years’ experience in business analysis or a related field.
  • ViewPoint system experience would be a bonus.
  • Experience of working with top performing project teams
  • Technology or Business transformation or Consulting experience in Client Onboarding, KYC & Screening (Financial Crime) (desirable)
  • Experience in an Agile development environment (desirable)
  • Prior experience in financial services sector is desirable
  • Foundation certification in Business Analysis is desirable.
